When you use the voter-information lookup, we retain the address exactly as entered, the standardized address submitted to Maine’s voter service, lookup results, unsuccessful searches, retries, ward and precinct information returned, and associated technical and referral information. This allows us to operate the tool, measure its use, find repeated problems, and improve assistance.
We may also collect technical information automatically when you use the website, such as your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring website, session or device identifiers, campaign-link parameters, and general usage information. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared by us with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except with service providers necessary to deliver the messaging service.
